APC’s Kamilu Sa’idu Wins Kaura Namoda South Supplementary Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced Kamilu Sa’idu Wanban Kasuwar Daji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the supplementary election for the Kaura Namoda South State Constituency in Zamfara State.

The declaration was made by the Returning Officer, Professor Lawal Sa’ad, from the Federal University Gusau. He revealed that the APC candidate secured a total of 8,182 votes, outpacing his closest competitor from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who garnered 5,543 votes.

According to Professor Sa’ad, Kamilu Sa’idu met all the legal criteria required to win the election and emerged with the highest number of valid votes cast during the poll.

Based on these results, INEC officially declared Kamilu Sa’idu as the elected representative for the Kaura Namoda South State Constituency and returned him as the duly elected candidate.
