Dangote Group Speaks Out on Allegations Linking Company to Phyna’s Sister’s Death

The Dangote Group has responded to viral social media claims suggesting the company had any involvement in the death of reality TV star Phyna’s sister.

In a statement issued on Monday, the company described the allegations as “false, baseless, and deeply distressing,” stressing that the Dangote Group neither has any connection to Phyna’s family tragedy nor played any role in the incident.

The conglomerate urged the public to disregard the claims, which it said were being circulated by “mischief-makers” on social media, adding that the company remains focused on its business operations and corporate social responsibilities.

While extending condolences to Phyna and her family, the Dangote Group appealed to Nigerians to avoid spreading unverified information capable of causing unnecessary pain to grieving families or tarnishing reputations.
