The member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Amobi Ogah, has joined family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating elder statesman and distinguished military officer, General Ike Omar Sanda Nwachukwu (Rtd), as he marks his birthday.

In a congratulatory message, Hon. Ogah described the retired General as “a man of honor, discipline, and uncommon patriotism whose life and service continue to inspire generations.”

He noted that General Nwachukwu’s invaluable contributions as a former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senator of the Federal Republic have placed him in the league of Nigeria’s finest leaders, whose sacrifices for nation-building remain evergreen.

“General Ike Nwachukwu is not just a shining pride of Isuikwuato land and Abia State, but also a national icon who has consistently stood for peace, unity, and progress. On this day, I celebrate a father, mentor, and leader whose wisdom continues to guide many of us in public service,” Ogah said.

The lawmaker prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health, and long life for the retired General, urging the younger generation to emulate his virtues of integrity, selflessness, and courage.

“As we rejoice with him today, it is my prayer that the Almighty God strengthens him and preserves him for many more years of impactful living,” Hon. Ogah concluded.
