Nigerian rapper and actor, Folarin “Falz” Falana, has addressed recent speculation about his marital status after traditional wedding-themed photos of him went viral online. The pictures, which sparked a wave of congratulatory messages and assumptions, led many fans to believe he had secretly tied the knot.

Clarifying the matter, Falz explained that the viral images were simply part of a creative photoshoot and not evidence of a real wedding ceremony. Taking to Instagram, he humorously remarked that when he eventually decides to get married, people might dismiss it as another prank.

The entertainer further emphasized that he is not obligated to publicize personal milestones, including marriage, to the world. According to him, while privacy remains important, he has not entirely dismissed the idea of sharing such a moment with fans if genuine love inspires him to do so.

Reflecting on the incident, Falz joked that the public’s reaction reminded him of the “boy who cried wolf” story. “Maybe when I do get married, nobody will believe it,” he quipped, highlighting the blurred line between celebrity privacy and public curiosity.
