Gunmen Abduct APC Chairman’s Wife and Daughter in Kwara

Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped the wife and daughter of Muhammad Swasun, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State. The attack occurred late Sunday night.

According to reports, the assailants scaled the fence into Swasun’s residence and opened fire indiscriminately to frighten residents. They then broke into one of the rooms, where they seized the chairman’s wife and daughter at gunpoint.

Confirming the incident on Monday, a member of the APC state executive council, who requested anonymity, said: “It’s true that our chairman’s wife and daughter in Patigi were kidnapped last night.”
