As part of activities marking his 45th birthday, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, former Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the 2023 general elections, held a series of strategic meetings with stakeholders, women, and youths from Bende Local Government Area, Abia State.

The meetings, held at various locations including Umuahia and his country home in Igbere, served as a platform for meaningful engagement between the entrepreneur-turned-politician and his constituents. Attendees shared their experiences and discussed issues surrounding community development, political participation, economic challenges, and the way forward.

“This is not just about my birthday,” Dr. Anyaso said. “It’s about reconnecting with my people, hearing them out firsthand, and understanding how best we can move Bende forward together.”

Dr. Anyaso called on the people to remain hopeful and law-abiding, urging them to do their part as citizens while allowing the government to deliver on its promises.

In the spirit of celebration and generosity, Dr. Anyaso distributed bags of rice, clothing materials, and cash gifts to hundreds of attendees ,a gesture many described as both timely and heartwarming.

A particularly emotional moment during the birthday engagements was his visit to the family of his late friend, Mr. Obike, a former chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party. While paying tribute to the deceased, Anyaso described him as “a true friend and ally who believed in unity and progress.”

In a show of solidarity and compassion, Dr. Anyaso announced a full university scholarship for Mr. Obike’s daughter.

“Leadership is not just about holding office,” he concluded. “It’s about making an impact, no matter where you are.”
