Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has added a last-minute highlight to the list of projects set for commissioning by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, during his visit to the state tomorrow.
In addition to the much-anticipated inauguration of newly reconstructed roads in Aba, the fully renovated Michael Okpara Auditorium in Umuahia will also be unveiled at a special ceremony scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at Library Avenue, Umuahia.
Announcing the development in a statement, Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu, said the inclusion of the auditorium in the President’s itinerary reflects Governor Otti’s proactive style and his deep pool of completed projects awaiting public unveiling.
“The commissioning of the Michael Okpara Auditorium at this eleventh hour is yet another clear demonstration of Governor Otti’s transformative agenda and commitment to modernizing public infrastructure across Abia,” the statement noted.
The newly upgraded facility stands as a symbol of the Governor’s drive to restore public assets to world-class standards, while also signaling the broader infrastructural renewal currently sweeping across the state.
With this strategic addition, tomorrow’s events are set to further showcase Abia’s journey under Governor Otti toward excellence, modernization, and impactful governance.
