Dubai is gearing up to host the world’s largest technology and artificial intelligence exhibition — GITEX GLOBAL 2025 — which opens on Monday, October 13, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The five-day event will feature over 6,800 global enterprises and 2,000 startups from 180 countries, showcasing cutting-edge innovations driving the future of AI and digital transformation.
According to the organisers, the event — running from October 13 to 17 — will bring together global tech leaders and innovators spearheading the world’s most ambitious AI infrastructure projects.
Major participants include Alibaba Cloud, AMD, AWS, Dell, e&, G42, Google, HPE, Huawei, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Siemens, and Snowflake, alongside emerging players such as Cerebras, Datadog, Mitsubishi, Qualcomm, Rital, ServiceNow, Tata Electronics, Telecom Italia, and Tenstorrent.
Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President of the Dubai World Trade Centre, highlighted that “future-critical sectors such as data centres, biotechnology, quantum computing, and robotics are where AI innovation is addressing humanity’s most pressing challenges.” She added that GITEX GLOBAL 2025 continues to serve as a catalyst for technology-driven progress across industries and global economies.
Running alongside the main exhibition, Expand North Star — the world’s largest startup showcase — opened earlier on Sunday at Dubai Harbour, hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. It features 2,000 startups and over 1,200 investors managing $1.1 trillion in assets.
This year’s edition records unprecedented international participation, with Brazil joining as a country partner with its largest-ever tech delegation. Other notable partners include the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Tech Destination Pakistan, while new national pavilions from Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, and Türkiye broaden global representation from Europe, Central Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Levant.
Tatiana Riera, COO of ApexBrasil, described the event as “a great opportunity to showcase Brazil’s innovation and technological contributions to solving global challenges.” Similarly, Marko Čadež, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, noted that Serbian startups were highlighting AI applications across diverse sectors including wellness, energy, and social media analytics.
Throughout the week, GITEX GLOBAL 2025 will spotlight major investment deals, international partnerships, and policy discussions aimed at scaling digital infrastructure, accelerating innovation, and building more inclusive global digital economies.
