Prominent activist and social crusader, Aisha Yesufu, has expressed confidence that Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Mr. Peter Obi, stands a better chance of winning in the 2027 general election.

Yesufu, who was a vocal supporter of Obi during the last election, said that the political landscape has shifted significantly in favour of the former Anambra State governor. She noted that the experience and momentum gained from the 2023 polls have strengthened his appeal among Nigerians, particularly the youth.

According to her, the 2023 election helped build a strong foundation for the “Obidient movement,” which continues to grow as more Nigerians demand accountability and good governance. She maintained that Obi’s message of transparency, competence, and people-centered leadership has continued to resonate nationwide.

Yesufu added that, with sustained public engagement and strategic political alliances, Obi’s chances in 2027 could surpass those of the last election. She urged his supporters to remain focused and continue mobilizing for positive change across the country.
