The Nigerian Hunter Council has officially appointed HRM Sir (Dr.) Mishak Nnanta as its National Patron and Assistant Commandant General (ACG) for Foreign Relations, in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contributions to national development.
The appointment, which was approved by the National Executive Council of the organization during its meeting held on June 4, 2021, was formally dated October 17, 2025. It was made in accordance with Article 5.6, subsections A and B of the Nigerian Hunter Council’s constitution.
In the Letter of Appointment signed by the Commander General, Ambassador Osatimehin Joshua, and the Chairman, Board of Trustees, AIG (Rtd) E. E. Amakulor, the Council congratulated Dr. Nnanta on his “well-deserved appointment” and urged him to uphold loyalty to the Constitution of the Hunter Group of Nigeria, as well as the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Council further emphasized the importance of promoting the rights and rule of law among hunters while ensuring the protection and security of local communities, a core part of the Council’s motto, “Secure the Communities.”
Dr. Nnanta’s appointment as National Patron and ACG Foreign Relations positions him to play a vital role in strengthening the Council’s partnerships and collaborations both within and outside Nigeria, as the organization continues its efforts in community security, environmental protection, and national service.
