Prince Emmanuel Kanu, younger brother to the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, alongside his legal counsel, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, and several others, have been taken to the Kuje Magistrate Court in Abuja.

Details surrounding the development remain sketchy as of press time, but reports indicate that the group was escorted by security operatives under tight surveillance. The reason for their arraignment is yet to be officially disclosed.

Eyewitnesses at the court premises confirmed heavy security presence, with journalists and supporters of the Kanu family restricted from accessing certain areas within the court complex.

Barrister Ejimakor, who has consistently represented Nnamdi Kanu in his legal battles, was seen arriving at the court in the company of other individuals believed to be associates of the IPOB leader.

More updates are expected as the proceedings unfold, with observers closely monitoring what could be a significant turn in the ongoing legal matters involving the Kanu family and the Nigerian government.
