Juventus have dismissed head coach Igor Tudor following a disappointing run of results that saw the club collect only five points from their last five Serie A matches. The decision came after a 1-0 loss to Lazio on Monday, which further deepened the team’s struggles this season.

In an official statement, the club announced that Men’s First Team Coach, Massimiliano Brambilla, will take charge of the team on an interim basis ahead of their league clash with Udinese on Wednesday.

“Juventus FC announces that it has today relieved Igor Tudor of his duties as head coach of the men’s first team, along with his staff consisting of Ivan Javorcic, Tomislav Rogic, and Riccardo Ragnacci,” the statement read. “The club thanks Tudor and his entire staff for their professionalism and dedication over the past few months and wishes them success in their future endeavours.”

Juventus currently sit eighth in Serie A, six points behind league leaders Napoli. The club’s Champions League campaign has also been underwhelming, as they rank 25th out of 36 teams after recording one draw and two defeats in their opening three group matches.
