OPM’s Apostle Chibuzor Declares Support for Otti, Calls Him ‘Heaven-Sent for Abia’

Founder and General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has lauded Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, describing him as a “God-sent messiah” raised to rescue the state from years of stagnation and poor governance.

In a statement posted on his official Facebook page, Apostle Chibuzor praised Governor Otti’s reform-driven leadership, particularly his strides in attracting investors and revitalising Abia’s economy. He described the governor’s developmental initiatives as acts of divine purpose rather than politics.

He wrote, “Bringing investors to my state is not politics; it’s the work of God because it concerns the lives of Abians. So close your mouth.”

The cleric, a native of Abia State renowned for his humanitarian and youth empowerment programmes, clarified that his support for the state’s development stems from divine inspiration, not political ambition.

“Screenshot this message. Any day I join politics, know that God has left me. My calling is that of a man of God, not a politician,” he affirmed.

Apostle Chibuzor emphasized that his advocacy for Abia’s progress aligns with his spiritual mission to improve the lives of the people and promote good governance.

His remarks come amid growing public commendation for Governor Otti’s administration, which has prioritised infrastructure renewal, economic growth, and the restoration of public trust.

Analysts note that Apostle Chibuzor’s endorsement reflects the increasing support from faith leaders who view Governor Otti’s leadership as a divinely inspired turning point for Abia State.
