Eight elite teams are set to compete for top honours at the Super 4 Volleyball Tournament, scheduled for Friday, November 7, and Saturday, November 8, at the Volleyball Court, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
The two-day event is part of activities commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Legacy Volleyball Club. In the men’s category, Legacy Volleyball Club will face Lekki Volleyball Club, Street Friendly Volleyball Club, and Amuwo Spikers. The women’s category will feature Legacy, Lekki, 1015 Spikers, and Amuwo Spikers, who will battle for a ₦500,000 cash prize.
Beyond the tournament, the anniversary celebration will include a veterans’ match, charity visits to orphanages, and a grand gala night on Saturday, November 22.
Speaking with journalists, Legacy Volleyball Club President, Joy Ezenwa, described the club as “more than just a sports group, but a family,” noting that its two-decade journey has been defined by unity and resilience. “Legacy is a family. We’ve faced challenges, but our bond keeps us strong,” she said. Ezenwa also invited volleyball enthusiasts and stakeholders across Lagos to join the celebration and experience the club’s enduring spirit of friendship and passion.
