The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, has paid glowing tribute to the late Elder Mrs. Grace Olo Ndukwe, wife of Most Rev. Dr. Olo Ndukwe, during a solemn funeral service held in Abiriba. The service, organized by the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, was attended by church leaders, dignitaries, and members of the community who gathered to celebrate her impactful life.
In his remarks, Engr. Emetu described the deceased as “a virtuous woman of rare faith, compassion, and selfless devotion,” noting that her exemplary life of service and unwavering commitment to God had inspired many. He commended her for her steadfast dedication to the Presbyterian Church and her profound influence within the community, emphasizing that “her life was a living testimony to faith and humanity.”
Delivering his message of comfort, the Principal Clerk of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria General Assembly, Most Rev. Prof. Miracle Ajah, reminded the congregation that God remains a refuge and strength even in moments of sorrow, citing biblical assurances of divine comfort and renewal.
In his tribute, the bereaved husband, Most Rev. Dr. Olo Ndukwe, described his late wife as a loving partner, devout servant of God, and unwavering pillar of support throughout their years together.
The service was graced by notable personalities, including His Eminence, Dr. Ekpenyong Nyong Akpanuka, Prelate and Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, alongside other religious and community leaders.
The ceremony became not only a farewell but also a celebration of the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Late Elder Mrs. Grace Olo Ndukwe a woman remembered for her deep faith, compassion, and lasting contributions to her church and community.
