According to Mr Ukwa, the Obisie Nwankpa Medal will be awarded to outstanding boxing champions at the annual Unity Games as a lasting tribute to the late Olympian’s dedication and immense contributions to sports development. He noted that the initiative is aimed at preserving Nwankpa’s legacy while inspiring young Abians to pursue excellence in sports.
