Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has dismissed rumours suggesting he might take over as Manchester City manager, stressing that his attention is fully on his role at Chelsea.
The Italian, who once worked as an assistant at City, was speculated to be a potential successor to Pep Guardiola. Maresca, however, called these reports “pure speculation” and insisted they do not affect him or his team.
He reaffirmed his commitment to Chelsea, where his contract runs until 2029, highlighting his dedication to guiding the club this season. Maresca also stated that rumours involving other clubs, including Juventus, are distractions he chooses not to entertain.
Chelsea, currently fourth in the Premier League, are now preparing for their next match against Newcastle, with Maresca determined to keep the focus on the team’s performance rather than transfer speculation.
