The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has issued a weather outlook predicting three consecutive days of hazy skies and sunshine nationwide. The forecast covers Wednesday through Friday, with conditions expected to vary across different regions.

In the northern region, hazy and sunny conditions are expected throughout the forecast period, with dust haze likely during the afternoon and evening hours.

The central region will experience sunny and hazy skies, while the southern part of the country will see sunny weather with some cloudy patches. There are also chances of isolated thunderstorms accompanied by light rain in parts of Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Ogun, Lagos, and other southern states later in the day.

NiMet has advised the public to take precautions due to dust particles in the air, which could affect visibility and health, especially for individuals with respiratory issues. Motorists are urged to drive carefully during rainfall, and airline operators are encouraged to obtain airport-specific weather reports for flight planning.

Residents are also reminded to stay informed through regular weather updates from NiMet as conditions evolve.
