The murder case involving Tebogo Mnisi, who was arrested in connection with the killing of two young women in Mamelodi, east of Pretoria, has been postponed to March 19, 2026. The matter was adjourned at the Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court to allow for further investigations.
The victims, 22-year-old Tshiyamo Moramaga and her 21-year-old cousin, Boleseng Moramaga, were killed in October last year after a night out. Their bodies were later discovered along a road in Mamelodi East Extension 17, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. A third individual was also injured during the incident and was taken to a nearby healthcare facility for treatment.
Mnisi, 38, made a brief appearance in court on Monday morning before the case was postponed. The State told the court that investigations are still ongoing, with hospital records and post-mortem reports yet to be finalised.
The accused faces five charges, including two counts of premeditated murder, attempted murder, and the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition. He will remain in custody until his next court appearance, having abandoned his bail application.
