Tinubu Embarks on State Visit to Türkiye to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Monday depart Abuja for an official visit to the Republic of Türkiye as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

The visit is expected to enhance cooperation in critical areas such as trade, investment, security, education, technology, aviation, and social development. Officials from both nations are scheduled to hold high-level discussions aimed at reviewing existing agreements and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.

President Tinubu is also expected to engage with Turkish business leaders to promote economic partnerships and attract investment into Nigeria. The visit will include talks on expanding cooperation in sectors such as energy, defence, scientific research, and media, with several agreements anticipated.

The President will travel with senior government officials and key aides and is expected to return to the country after completing the state visit.
