President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General for party outreach, engagement and mobilisation, with immediate effect.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, assigning the Kaduna governor a key role in coordinating grassroots engagement and strengthening the communication and mobilisation framework of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) across the country.
Tinubu, who serves as the leader of the APC, said Sani’s leadership credentials and organisational experience informed his decision.
In his new capacity, Sani is expected to work closely with the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassador programme and the party leadership, particularly the APC National Chairman, to foster unity, inclusiveness and strategic collaboration within the party’s mobilisation structure at all levels.
According to the President, the Renewed Hope Ambassador initiative aims to increase public awareness of government policies and programmes, showcase key achievements, and build public confidence in the administration’s agenda nationwide.
In a letter conveying the appointment, Tinubu stated that the role is designed to secure broad national support for the party and its candidates ahead of future elections. He emphasised that early planning and structured engagement would be crucial to the party’s electoral success.
The President added that Sani’s leadership would be instrumental in driving the process strategically, with a mandate to mobilise support, expand outreach and consolidate the Renewed Hope message at community, state and national levels.
