Davido Reacts as Indian Hotel Worker Credits Him for Life Turnaround

Award-winning Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared a heartfelt exchange with an Indian man who credited the singer for positively transforming his life after a brief meeting at a hotel in India.

On Thursday, Davido reposted a message from the man, identified as Govind Kadak, on his Instagram story, alongside a photo they took together during their encounter.

In the message, Kadak revealed that he was about to purchase a new car and reflected on how his life had improved since meeting the Nigerian music star nearly a year and four months ago.

“Hello Sir Davido,” he wrote. “With your blessings, I am going to buy a new car. It has been almost 1.4 years since I met you in the hotel. From the day we met, my whole life has changed, and everything has become good.

“Sir, you are a very good person. I love you, sir. May God give you lots of happiness, and may you and your family receive even the happiness that belongs to my share as well.”

Responding to the message, Davido recalled meeting Kadak during a stay in India, describing him as a loyal hotel staff member.

“Wow, met this dude in India last year and posted him on my IG snap. He was a very loyal butler of mine at the hotel we stayed in… You never know when God is using you,” the singer wrote.

The exchange sparked warm reactions on social media, with fans praising Davido for his humility and kindness toward people he encounters.

The singer has recently made headlines for other generous gestures. A few days ago, he flew a TikTok chef known as Jaskaro and his mother from Delta State to Lagos for a dinner outing.

In a video that later surfaced online, Davido was seen presenting Jaskaro’s mother with N10 million in cash, packaged in a Bagco sack, while also gifting the chef a bundle of money.

Following the dinner, Jaskaro shared another video stating that he had been invited to cook at Eko Hotel, where he prepared his signature coconut pasta for executives during the hotel’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Davido’s recent actions have continued to draw admiration from fans, many of whom commend the singer for using his influence to uplift others.
