The Abia State Government has announced plans to launch the third phase of its TechRise Programme, a digital skills training initiative designed to equip young people with practical technology competencies for today’s job market.
Prince Okey Kanu, the Commissioner for Information, highlighted that the first two cohorts have already empowered numerous youths across the state, providing them with valuable expertise in areas such as software development, digital marketing, and data analytics.
Authorities confirmed that a registration portal for the upcoming cohort will be made available shortly, allowing interested participants to apply and join the program. Officials emphasized that the initiative is part of the state’s broader effort to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and employment opportunities for young residents.
