Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, have officially started their training camp in Antalya, Turkey, as they prepare for international friendly matches against Iran and Jordan later this month.
Team officials and coaching staff arrived first to finalize arrangements before the players’ arrival. By Tuesday evening, 15 players had reported to the camp, while a few members of the 23‑man squad are still expected to join later.
Among those already in Turkey are midfielders Fisayo Dele‑Bashiru and Alex Iwobi, defenders Emmanuel Fernandez and Semi Ajayi, and forwards Moses Simon and Paul Onuachu. Goalkeepers Francis Uzoho and Adebayo Adeleye are also part of the early arrivals.
Key players yet to arrive include defenders Calvin Bassey, Zaidu Sanusi, and Igoh Ogbu, midfielders Wilfred Ndidi and Raphael Onyedika, and attackers Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Chidera Ejuke, and Akor Adams.
The camp will serve as the team’s base for final preparations ahead of their matches against Iran on Friday and Jordan on March 31.
