The Ajah regional arm of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries recently carried out a large‑scale food distribution for vulnerable individuals in parts of Lagos State. As part of the church’s community service effort, volunteers handed out 5‑kilogram bags of rice to 550 people facing hardship, including those struggling with hunger and limited resources.
Organisers said the outreach included people from different religious and ethnic groups, reflecting the programme’s aim to provide practical support to those in need and ease food insecurity in the area.
According to officials, this activity was conducted under the church’s “Explosive Evangelism Initiative,” which they described as a way of both showing compassion and sharing hope with disadvantaged community members. In remarks during the event, a senior church leader referenced a biblical call to care for the hungry as a motivation for the gesture.
In addition to the food giveaways, the outreach included a children’s open‑air spiritual programme that drew more than 400 young participants and featured prayer, teaching, and interactive activities designed to encourage moral and spiritual growth.
Church leaders said the combined activities were intended not only to help families with immediate food needs but also to nurture future generations with values of faith, gratitude, and service.
