The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Abdulrahman Bashir Haske as Chairman of the Youth Advisory Committee for the upcoming Ganye State Assembly Constituency by-election in Adamawa State, scheduled for August 16, 2025. The appointment was officially signed by the APC National Vice Chairman (North-East), Comrade Mustapha Salihu.
Haske is expected to collaborate closely with the National Campaign Council Sub-Committee, which includes Hon. Nuruddeen Hamanyero, Barr. Dedan Pwadi Hoki, Dr. Tahir Abubakar Girei, Musa Terrang (PhD), Lamido Hamza Abdullah, and Salihu Mohammed Harbingiwa. Other members are Huzaifa Sanusi, Idris Zubairu Numan, Sa’adu Adamu Namtari, Hon. Khalil Sajo, Dauda Kushu, Isah Garba Mayo, Lukman D. Wise, Shehu Baba-Jacob, and Hon. Yakubu Bello Bashir.
Following his appointment, Haske paid a courtesy visit to the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, who also serves as a key APC figure in Adamawa State. Their discussions covered the upcoming by-election, internal party affairs, and strategies to strengthen political alliances. Haske praised Ribadu’s inclusive leadership and notable achievements.
The APC reiterated its dedication to ensuring a peaceful, transparent, and successful by-election. The party also called on members, supporters, and the public to support Haske and the Youth Advisory Committee in fulfilling their mandate.
