The Dangote Group has issued an official statement following the tragic accident involving a company trailer that struck and severely injured the sister of reality TV star, Phyna. The unfortunate incident, which has since drawn widespread public sympathy and outrage on social media, left the young woman critically injured and battling for her life.

According to the statement released on Friday, the company expressed deep regret over the incident and assured the public, as well as the victim’s family, of its commitment to providing full medical care and adequate compensation. “Our hearts go out to the victim and her loved ones in this extremely difficult time,” the statement read. “We are working closely with her family to ensure she receives the best possible treatment and long-term support.”

Sources close to the family confirmed that the victim has undergone multiple emergency surgeries, including a double leg amputation, and now passes urine through a surgically created abdominal channel. Her condition remains critical, and she is currently receiving intensive care. The incident has sparked conversations online about road safety and corporate accountability.

As investigations continue, the Dangote Group reiterated that safety remains a top priority in its operations. The company also called for calm, assuring that all necessary measures will be taken to support the victim’s recovery and prevent future occurrences of such tragic events.
