The Abia State Government, through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has announced a six-day capacity training programme for newly recruited teachers across the state.
According to a press release signed by Elder Goodluck Chinedu Ubochi, Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, the training is scheduled as follows:
ASUBEB Primary Teachers: August 25th – 30th, 2025
ASUBEB Junior & SEMB Senior Secondary Teachers: September 1st – 6th, 2025
Training Venues:
Aba Centre: Abayi Girls Secondary School, Umuocham, Aba
Umuahia Centre: Federal Government Girls Secondary School, Umuahia
The Ministry directed all participants to visit the official portal to select their preferred training centre and download their admit cards ahead of the exercise.
