AC Milan director Igli Tare has revealed that Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze could be on his way out of the club before the summer transfer window closes. Chukwueze has attracted interest from Premier League side Fulham and Spanish outfit Real Betis, both of whom are reportedly monitoring his situation closely.
Fulham nearly secured the winger’s signature during the final days of the January transfer window, and they appear keen to reignite talks. Since joining AC Milan from Villarreal two years ago, Chukwueze has struggled for regular playing time and has mostly featured in a supporting role.
The 26-year-old finds himself behind Rafael Leão and Christian Pulisic in the pecking order at San Siro, limiting his chances of consistent first-team action. Speaking about the club’s plans, Tare confirmed that departures are still possible: “Chukwueze and Musah could still leave this summer, it is a possibility. We are evaluating the best option for us,” he said in an interview with Soy Calcio.
Chukwueze has made 51 league appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring four goals. As the transfer deadline approaches, both the player and the club are considering their options, with a move away looking increasingly likely.
