The people of Umuochoba Ovim community in Isuikwuato Local Government Area are set to witness another milestone in grassroots development as Rt. Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, flags off the much-anticipated Solar Borehole Project today, 4th September, at 10am.
The official release invites stakeholders, community leaders, Labour Party faithful, and members of the Ugo Abia Grassroots Movement, particularly from Ward 2, to join in the landmark event that promises to bring lasting solutions to the age-long water challenges in the community.
According to community leaders, the project will not only improve access to potable water but also contribute to better health and sanitation standards for the people of Umuochoba Ovim and neighboring areas. They expressed optimism that the initiative will boost the community’s socio-economic life.
This solar-powered borehole, designed to ensure sustainable water supply, reflects a new era of people-oriented representation that prioritizes the welfare of rural communities often neglected in developmental planning.
Rt. Hon. Amobi Ogah has continued to distinguish himself as a servant-leader, committed to translating legislative influence into tangible community development. His interventions across Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Constituency—from education to healthcare and now critical infrastructure—have set him apart as a lawmaker who matches words with action.
Many constituents proudly attest that Ogah’s leadership style embodies humility, accessibility, and a deep passion for grassroots empowerment. With the Umuochoba Ovim solar borehole project, he once again demonstrates that his vision for representation is not about politics but about transforming lives and building legacies for future generations.
