Champions League: Arteta Confirms Five Arsenal Stars Ruled Out of Athletic Bilbao Clash

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka will miss their opening Champions League tie against Athletic Bilbao as he continues recovery from a hamstring injury.

Saka, who has been sidelined since Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Leeds United last month, joins Ben White, Martin Ødegaard, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus on the injury list.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Arteta said: “There’s still quite a lot of things to go through. Very difficult to understand what week he is going to be available. He will most certainly be pushing to be available as soon as possible.”
