No Rift Between Osimhen and Icardi at Galatasaray – Insider

Galatasaray insider Kaya Temel has dismissed rumors of tension between Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and Argentine forward Mauro Icardi.

Speculation of a strained relationship emerged after statistics showed that despite playing seven matches together since Osimhen’s arrival in the summer of 2025, neither player has assisted the other.

Temel, however, clarified that both stars are on good terms, citing credible sources within Galatasaray’s Kemerburgaz training facility.

“Some people just want to stir chaos where none exists,” Temel told habersarikirmizi. “There’s no indication that Icardi was celebrated or that Osimhen was unhappy. My sources confirm they share jokes before every training session.”

Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray permanently in 2025, has missed the club’s last three matches due to an ankle injury.
