Luis Díaz scored twice, including a goal just 15 seconds into the match, as Bayern Munich cruised to a 3-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday. Harry Kane added his 18th goal of the season to seal the win, sending Bayern four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga heading into the international break.

Bayern made an explosive start when Serge Gnabry intercepted a loose Frankfurt pass and set up Díaz for one of the fastest goals in Bundesliga history. Frankfurt thought they had equalised through Jean-Matteo Bahoya’s strike, but VAR ruled it out for handball in the buildup.

Kane doubled Bayern’s lead in the 27th minute with a powerful low drive from outside the box. The England captain later suffered a knock in a collision with Frankfurt goalkeeper Kaua Santos but assured fans he would be fit for England’s upcoming fixtures.

“I’m okay,” Kane said after the match. “It was just a knock on the bone. I’ll be fine in a few days.”

Díaz completed his brace six minutes from time, taking his tally to six goals in 10 appearances since joining Bayern from Liverpool during the summer.

Elsewhere, Borussia Dortmund were held to a 1-1 draw by RB Leipzig. Christoph Baumgartner opened the scoring for Leipzig before Yan Couto levelled for Dortmund. The result leaves Dortmund second, a point behind Bayern, while Leipzig sit third.

In other matches, Bayer Leverkusen defeated Union Berlin 2-0 with goals from Ernest Poku and Christian Kofane, while Werder Bremen edged St. Pauli 1-0. Augsburg ended their four-game losing streak with a convincing 3-1 victory over Wolfsburg.
