Hon. Engr. Chinedum Orji Felicitates with Abia Teachers on World Teachers’ Day

The immediate past Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has extended heartfelt felicitations to teachers in Abia State and across Nigeria on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day 2025.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Orji described teachers as the true architects of the nation’s future, noting that no society can rise above the quality of its teachers. He lauded Abia teachers for their unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds, imparting knowledge, and instilling moral values despite the challenges they face.

He emphasized that education remains the strongest foundation for national development, urging government and stakeholders to continue investing in teachers’ welfare, training, and working conditions.

“On this special day, I celebrate every teacher who wakes up daily with the passion to build destinies and shape the future of our children. Your patience, dedication, and resilience remain a source of inspiration to all,” Hon. Orji stated.

He further congratulated Abia teachers for their continued excellence, discipline, and service to humanity, assuring them of his continued support and advocacy for better educational standards in the state.

“Happy World Teachers’ Day to all our heroes in the classroom,” he added.
