SUNDAY VINE – Topic: “God Still Shows Up” by Dr Uche Ogah

Sometimes life doesn’t go the way we planned. You pray, you try, you hope, yet nothing seems to move. It’s in those quiet, confusing seasons that we often think God has forgotten us. But hear this truth: God still shows up even when it looks too late.

When Lazarus died, everyone thought it was over. Martha said, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” But Jesus waited, not because He didn’t care, but because He wanted to reveal a greater glory.

“Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life.” — John 11:25

Maybe you have been waiting on a job, a healing, or a breakthrough. You have done all you can, and it still feels like nothing is happening. But God’s delay is never denial. He is not late; He is preparing the perfect moment to turn things around.

“At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” — Isaiah 60:22

Sometimes, before God shows up, He allows the situation to look completely hopeless. That is because He wants everyone to know that when the miracle comes, it could only have been Him. So do not quit praying. Do not give up on that dream. God is still in the business of showing up right on time.

As you go through this new week, keep your hope alive. Your midnight can still turn into morning. The same God who showed up for Lazarus will show up for you.

📖 “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5

Vine Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that You never come late. Even when I cannot see it, You are working behind the scenes. Strengthen my faith to wait on You and believe again. Let this week bring my testimony, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
