2025 Nobel Prize Announcements Begin Today with Medicine Laureate Reveal

The 2025 Nobel Prize season officially begins on Monday, starting with the highly anticipated announcement of the winner in the Physiology or Medicine category. This prestigious award, one of the most respected in the scientific community, may go to a single researcher or be shared among two or three scientists whose work has significantly advanced the field of medicine or physiology. Each year, the Nobel Committee recognizes groundbreaking discoveries that have deepened humanity’s understanding of life and disease.

Last year’s Nobel Prize in Medicine was awarded to American researchers Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun for their pioneering discovery of micro-RNA and its crucial role in regulating genes — a finding that reshaped molecular biology.
