The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), in collaboration with hosts Morocco, has confirmed the venues and schedule for the African Qualifiers of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Inter-Continental Play-off Tournament.
The mini-tournament will take place in Rabat, Morocco, from November 13 to 16, 2025, featuring four nations — Nigeria, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and Gabon.
CAF announced the details on its official website on Tuesday.
According to the schedule, the semi-final matches will be played on Thursday, November 13, at El Barid Stadium and the Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex. A draw slated for October 30, 2025, will determine the venue allocations for each fixture.
The opening match will see Nigeria face Gabon at 17:00 local time (16:00 GMT), followed by Cameroon versus DRC at 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT).
The final is scheduled for Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, kicking off at 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT).
The winner of the tournament will secure a place in the FIFA Inter-Continental Play-off Tournament slated for March 2026, where they will compete for Africa’s 10th and final qualification spot at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
