Aemi Premium has announced a strategic partnership with Wema Bank and Providus Bank to provide cleaner, more sustainable energy solutions to homes and businesses in Nigeria. The collaboration, which combines innovative technology with accessible financing options, was unveiled during the official launch of Aemi Premium in Lagos, according to a statement released on Sunday.

The partnership seeks to make AMP Solar products and energy-efficient home appliances widely available to Nigerian households and enterprises through flexible payment plans. At the event, AMP showcased its range of offerings, including solar panels, inverters, lithium batteries with up to 10-year warranties, security cameras, smart locks, and other modern home appliances. The company describes these solutions as a means to empower Nigerians with reliable electricity while promoting a cleaner environment.

Speaking at the launch, CEO Samuel Williams highlighted AMP’s vision of a sustainable Nigeria powered by clean, reliable, and affordable solar energy. He noted that over 92 million Nigerians still lack access to stable electricity, while those connected often rely on costly, noisy, and polluting generators despite significant government and private sector investments in energy.

“Our system guarantees uninterrupted electricity, even when the national grid fails, offering a consistent, eco-friendly alternative to traditional power sources,” Williams said. He added that adopting solar energy reduces dependence on fossil fuels and contributes to cleaner air, quieter surroundings, and a healthier environment.

Beyond energy provision, AMP is also committed to creating jobs in installation, maintenance, and distribution, supporting livelihoods across Nigeria. Having operated successfully in The Gambia for over a year, AMP plans to replicate the same model in Nigeria, offering products designed for local needs but built to European standards.

Onetoritsebawo Adejumo, Relationship Manager at Providus Bank, explained that the partnership ensures homeowners and businesses can access AMP products even if they lack upfront capital. “Providus Bank supports SMEs and businesses through low-interest financing schemes, helping them grow while enjoying clean, reliable energy,” she said.

To strengthen its connection with customers, AMP also unveiled Dr. Oluwakemisola Ogunleye, popularly known as Kem Realtor, as its brand ambassador. “I choose to work with brands that are authentic and true to their purpose, and AMP Solar embodies exactly that,” she said.

Through this partnership and its forward-looking vision, Aemi Premium is setting a new benchmark for clean energy in Nigeria—powering not just homes but livelihoods, dreams, and a sustainable future.
