The African Action Congress (AAC) is urging every Nigerian to Support The new coalition aimed at ending the notorious “Tiger Base” police outpost, which has become a symbol of unchecked brutality. Party leaders argue that the base has been a hotbed for extrajudicial killings, illegal detentions, and other human‑rights abuses that have left countless families in pain.

In a fiery statement, AAC chairman said the time for talk is over; they’re demanding an immediate shutdown of the facility and a full, independent investigation into its activities. The coalition, which includes civil‑society groups, human‑rights organizations, and concerned citizens, plans a series of protests and legal actions to pressure the authorities.

The AAC also warned that the government’s silence on the matter only emboldens the police unit, turning a blind eye to the suffering of ordinary Nigerians. They’re calling on the National Assembly to fast‑track legislation that would hold rogue officers accountable and provide reparations to victims.

Support is already pouring in from various quarters, with many Nigerians sharing stories of loss and demanding justice. The party hopes this grassroots momentum will force the state to act decisively before more lives are ruined.

If you’re fed up with the endless cycle of police impunity, the AAC says now is the moment to stand together, raise your voice, and help shut down Tiger Base for good. The fight for a safer, more just Nigeria starts with each of us.
