Hon. Lucky Johnson Graces Obialaugo Women’s End-of-Year Ceremony in Umuobiala

The Member representing Isuikwuato State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Lucky Udoka Nweke Johnson, has graced the end-of-year ceremony organised by the Obialaugo Women for Lucky Johnson political structure, held at Umuobiala Community.

The visit, which took place late yesterday, drew excitement and jubilation among members of the women’s group, who turned out in large numbers to welcome the lawmaker. Songs of praise and expressions of goodwill filled the venue as the women celebrated his presence at their gathering.

In his address, Hon. Johnson commended the women for their unity, commitment and continuous support for his leadership and political vision. He described the Obialaugo women as a strong pillar of grassroots mobilisation and development, noting that their collective efforts contribute significantly to peace, stability and progress within the community.

The lawmaker also acknowledged the spirit of togetherness and cooperation among the women, which he said reflects the core values of community development and inclusive governance. As a gesture of appreciation, Hon. Johnson presented each member of the group with a wrapper and further promised to extend additional Christmas palliatives to support them during the festive season.

According to him, the end-of-year celebration provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the year while also strengthening bonds between leaders and the people at the grassroots. He reaffirmed his commitment to prioritising the welfare of women, youths and the less privileged in his constituency.

Speaking on behalf of the Obialaugo women, Mrs. Florence expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Johnson for honouring their invitation and for his continued generosity towards the group and the wider Umuobiala community. She described the lawmaker as a dependable leader whose actions consistently demonstrate care and concern for the people.

Mrs. Florence noted that the women remain resolute in their support for Hon. Johnson and pledged continued cooperation with his leadership, praying for wisdom and strength as he continues to represent the constituency at the state legislature.

The ceremony ended on a festive note, marked by goodwill messages, cultural displays and renewed commitment by the women to support initiatives that promote unity and development within Isuikwuato Local Government Area.
