The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday hosted a praise and worship session for political leaders and associates at his residence in Abuja.
The gathering featured prayers, gospel music, and moments of thanksgiving, as participants joined in worship and reflection. Those in attendance included serving and former public office holders, party leaders, and close associates of the minister.
According to sources at the event, the session was organised as a time of gratitude and spiritual renewal, with prayers offered for national unity, peace, and effective leadership across the country.
Wike, who addressed the gathering briefly, emphasized the importance of faith, gratitude, and humility in public service, noting that leadership responsibilities require divine guidance and wisdom.
The event comes amid ongoing political engagements in the nation’s capital, adding a spiritual dimension to interactions among key political actors outside formal government settings.
