A former member of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Evans Bipi, has expressed confidence that Governor Siminalayi Fubara will complete two terms in office, amounting to eight years as governor of the state.

Bipi made the assertion on Saturday, December 27, 2025, while hosting his supporters and leaders of Ogu-Bolo Local Government Area at his private residence.

Speaking during the gathering, the former lawmaker said the people of Ogu-Bolo Local Government have thrown their weight behind Governor Fubara, following his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He emphasized that the local government area is united in its support for the governor and is determined to work towards his re-election for a second term. Bipi also noted that the group would mobilize support for the President’s second-term ambition, aligning their political efforts with the broader goals of the party.
