Former Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has praised the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu.

Former Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has praised the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, describing him as a “rising star from the South-East” whose leadership and humility continue to inspire pride among the people of Abia.

Ikpeazu lauded Kalu’s performance at the national level, noting that each time he speaks or presides over legislative proceedings, he demonstrates exceptional maturity, wisdom and sincerity.

“Many people may not like you, but that should not concern you,” Ikpeazu said. “Continue to do what is right and remain humble. I am proud of your stewardship, and every time I see you presiding on television, I feel proud. You are truly a blessing to the House of Representatives.”

He encouraged Abians to be proud of their representatives in the National Assembly, expressing confidence that Kalu would continue to advance and position himself strategically in national politics. He also advised those working with him to remain patient and supportive, noting that national politics demands resilience and experience.

“As you continue to navigate Nigeria’s political landscape, within and beyond the chambers, know that we are constantly praying for you,” Ikpeazu added.
