The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 quarter-final fixtures have been finalized as the tournament in Morocco moves into the knockout stages. Eight teams will compete across two days in high-stakes clashes that will determine who reaches the semi-finals.
The first set of quarter-final matches is scheduled for Friday, January 9, with Mali facing defending champions Senegal at the Grand Stade de Tanger in Tangier, kicking off at 5:00 pm WAT. Later that evening, Cameroon will take on host nation Morocco at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, starting at 9:00 pm.
Action continues on Saturday, January 10, when Nigeria meets Algeria at Stade de Marrakech in Marrakesh at 5:00 pm, followed by a showdown between Egypt and Côte d’Ivoire at Stade Adrar in Agadir with an 8:00 pm kick-off.
These quarter-final fixtures promise thrilling encounters as some of Africa’s strongest football nations vie for a place in the last four of the continent’s premier tournament.
