The 2027 Abia State governorship aspirant, Mascot Uzo Kalu, has projected a sweeping national victory for the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general elections, expressing strong confidence in the party’s growing influence and acceptance across the country. He made this declaration while addressing supporters and stakeholders during a recent political engagement, where he emphasized that the APC remains the most viable platform for national unity, stability and development.
According to him, the APC has continued to strengthen its grassroots presence, expand its membership base and deliver policies that respond to the real needs of Nigerians. He noted that the party’s performance in governance, infrastructure development and economic reforms has helped restore public confidence in its leadership, making it the preferred choice for many voters ahead of the next election cycle.
Mascot Uzo Kalu further stated that the APC has learned valuable lessons from past elections and is now more strategically positioned to run an inclusive, transparent and people driven campaign. He stressed that internal party unity, effective mobilization and issue based messaging would play key roles in securing a decisive victory nationwide.
He also highlighted the importance of youth and women participation in the party’s future plans, describing them as the driving force of modern democracy. According to him, the APC is deliberately creating more opportunities for young people and women to take up leadership roles and contribute meaningfully to national development.
On governance, Mascot Uzo Kalu said Nigerians are beginning to see the impact of reforms aimed at strengthening institutions, improving security and boosting economic productivity. The Abia governorship aspirant also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as bold and visionary leadership, noting that the president’s reforms in the economy, infrastructure, security and governance are gradually laying the foundation for long term national stability. He said Tinubu’s commitment to tough but necessary decisions reflects a genuine desire to reposition Nigeria for sustainable growth, adding that many Nigerians are beginning to appreciate the impact of these policies despite initial challenges.
He urged party members across all states to remain focused, disciplined and united, adding that victory would not come by mere declarations but through consistent engagement with the people. He called on leaders at all levels to prioritize service delivery and responsiveness to public concerns.
