The member representing Isuikwuato and Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Amobi Ogah, has reaffirmed his commitment to staying closely connected to the people he represents, emphasizing that effective leadership begins with listening to the concerns and aspirations of the citizens.

Speaking to Newsmen on the importance of grassroots engagement, the federal lawmaker noted that governance must remain people centered. According to him, understanding the daily realities of constituents provides the foundation for meaningful representation and responsible decision making in the National Assembly.

Ogah stressed that the voices of ordinary citizens must never be ignored in the process of governance. He explained that leaders who remain accessible and attentive to the needs of their communities are better positioned to advocate effectively for policies that reflect the interests of the people.

The lawmaker further stated that continuous dialogue between elected representatives and citizens strengthens democracy. He encouraged residents across communities in the constituency to remain actively involved in civic discussions and to freely express their views on issues affecting their welfare and future.

According to him, leadership is not only about occupying a position of authority but about maintaining a genuine connection with the people. He emphasized that the trust given to elected officials by voters must be honored through openness, responsiveness, and dedication to public service.

Ogah therefore assured constituents that their voices will always remain central to his approach to representation, noting that listening to the people will continue to guide his actions and decisions in the service of the constituency and the nation.
