Nigerian content creators have claimed more spots than any other country in the list of Africa’s biggest live streamers in 2026, highlighting the country’s growing influence in the continent’s digital entertainment landscape.

While Ilyas El Maliki of Morocco tops the overall rankings, Nigeria places multiple creators in the top ten, thanks to strong audience engagement and early adoption of live broadcasting as a career.

Leading the Nigerian contingent is Carter Efe, who has amassed a massive following by blending pop culture, interviews, gaming, and variety content. Other Nigerian names in the list include Shank Comics, Enzo (Rynenzo), Peller, Ojo, and Lord Lamba, each carving out their own niche and audience within Africa’s fast-growing livestreaming economy.

The rankings are based on combined follower counts across platforms like Twitch and Kick, offering a snapshot of sustained influence and community support in African livestreaming.

While Nigeria’s dominance underscores the strength of its creative community, established creators from South Africa and Egypt also hold places on the list, reflecting a vibrant and diverse streaming ecosystem across the continent.
