Medal winners from the 2025 National Youth Games (NYG) are set to return to competition in Season 7 of the Dolphin Swimming League at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Complex in Lagos. The event promises intense action as both returning champions and emerging talents take to the pool in front of local supporters.

Lagos State, which dominated the previous NYG in Asaba, will have several top performers who began their careers in the Dolphin League. Competitors representing schools and clubs will bring pride and competitive energy to the one-day contest.

The league, organized by the Lagos State Sports Commission in collaboration with local sports promotion partners, is designed to give promising swimmers more exposure and experience in high-level competition. It continues to serve as a stepping stone for young athletes aiming to progress in their sporting careers.

Organizers are confident that support from the state and fans will inspire swimmers to excel, with some potentially targeting spots in future international competitions. The league remains a critical platform for nurturing talent and preparing athletes to represent Nigeria on the global stage.
