Pastor Dr. Chioma Ibezim, the Founder of the Singles and Married National Fellowship Outreach, has continued to distinguish herself as a woman whose life and ministry embody compassion, service, and unwavering faith. Through years of dedicated spiritual leadership and humanitarian work, she has become a source of hope to thousands of families, widows, and struggling homes across Nigeria. Her ministry has grown beyond the pulpit, evolving into a powerful platform for social intervention, family restoration, and community development.
One of the most remarkable impacts of Pastor Ibezim’s outreach is her sustained support for widows. Through her ministry initiatives, she has empowered and blessed over 24,000 widows, providing them with financial assistance, emotional support, and opportunities for livelihood. For many of these women who once faced uncertainty and neglect, her intervention has restored dignity and renewed their confidence to rebuild their lives.
Her compassion is also evident in her direct acts of kindness within her community. Before constructing the now celebrated Rehoboth Auditorium, Pastor Ibezim first built a house for a widow in the same community, demonstrating her belief that human welfare must come before monumental structures. This gesture reflects her philosophy that true ministry is measured not by buildings, but by the lives touched and restored.
Pastor Ibezim has also shown deep commitment to the welfare of children through her educational initiatives. She established a school where orphans and the children of pastors are given the opportunity to attend free of charge. In a society where many vulnerable children struggle to access quality education, this initiative has opened doors for a brighter future, ensuring that financial hardship does not deny them the chance to learn and succeed.
Beyond social welfare, Pastor Ibezim has also played a vital role in community development. Through her advocacy and influence, she attracted a one billion naira project for the construction of a critical road in her community, a road that was once threatened by severe erosion. This intervention has helped protect the area from environmental devastation while improving transportation and economic activities for residents.
During the challenging days of the COVID 19 pandemic, Pastor Ibezim once again demonstrated extraordinary compassion by organizing feeding programs that supported six villages. At a time when many families struggled to survive the economic hardship brought by lockdowns, her intervention ensured that vulnerable households received food and essential support. Her acts of kindness during that period remain deeply remembered by many beneficiaries.
Pastor Ibezim’s ministry continues to transform families and communities in profound ways. She celebrates her birthday every 23rd of August by paying hospital bills and facilitating the release of women who gave birth but are stranded at the Federal Medical Center. She also hosts pastors in Umuahia almost every quarter to foster unity within the body of Christ. Through prayers and faith, God has used her ministry to bless families with about 1.2 million miracle babies. In addition, her counseling initiatives have restored peace in many homes, culminating in the establishment of a pioneering “Love Clinic,” a safe honeymoon and healing space designed to strengthen marriages and restore harmony among couples. Through these extraordinary efforts, Pastor Dr. Chioma Ibezim continues to stand as a shining example of faith in action and love in service to humanity.
