A new medical diagnostic centre has been officially opened in a community in Kogi State, bringing enhanced healthcare services closer to residents. The facility, initiated by Princess Ododo, aims to strengthen early detection and treatment of common illnesses in the area.

During the unveiling ceremony, community leaders and health officials praised the new centre for its potential to reduce the need for long travel when seeking medical tests and consultations. The facility is equipped to carry out a range of diagnostic services that were previously difficult for locals to access.

Princess Ododo highlighted that the project was born out of a desire to improve the overall well‑being of the community and support families who face challenges accessing quality healthcare. She encouraged residents to make use of the new services and take proactive steps toward maintaining their health.

Residents expressed excitement about the development, noting that the centre will ease the burden on nearby hospitals and save time and resources for local families. The diagnostic centre is expected to play a vital role in boosting the community’s health outcomes in the long term.
